Beach Baby

This morning, we went to the beach. Our favorite in this area is Fort Desoto. It probably is not the most beautiful beach with white sand and crystal clear water, but there are no condos, and most importantly, the beach is shaded in some areas. It has consistently been voted one of the best beaches in the US.
Anyway, Anna Christine had a blast. She really enjoyed the birds, playing in the sand and water, and just walking around in the sand. She was not at all afraid of the waves and would let them splash up in her face and would walk right into them by herself.
The picture above is of a beach chair that Samuel built for her, including a beverage holder and everything. As you can see, she is completely covered with sand from where her daddy buried her legs in the sand. Thankfully, we came home with no sunburn. The three applications in a two hour period most have done the job. Thank goodness for spray sunscreen!
