Zoo Day

We met some friends at the zoo today, and Anna Christine was so excited. Below, as you can see, she cannot even contain her excitement.

Both kids loved the penguins. . .


She loved the giraffes, and he seemed to really love her. She was talking to him and trying to pet him. She really wanted a kiss, but the zoo person asked her to take a step back.


Anna Christine really wanted to ride on the hippo. She was so very sad about not being able to, and I tried everything to help her understand that this was not possible. She told me that she just needed to sit down for a little while.
