Valentine's Day

The kids and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day (Samuel was in Gainesville for most of the day). The kids got a package in the mail filled with Valentine surprises from my parents. Forrest got some new puppies which he really loves. He loves puppies that are not real. If he is approached by a real puppy, he is absolutely terrified. AC got the Melissa and Doug birthday cake, and she loves it. Kitchen and food toys are some of my favorites. The kids enjoy playing with them together, and they are always a hit when other kids come over to play. Anyway, AC likes for the puppies to eat the candy toppings for the cake. I guess she does this since they arrived at our home in the same package. To her, they must go together.

Forrest also really loves juice boxes very much. He usually does not take a break from drinking until the box is finished. He did offer a quick sip to AC.

Chanin has discovered raisins.

In other news, Forrest is completely potty trained and has been for a couple of weeks. He is doing really great! He can also put his crocs on by himself and almost put his arms through his car seat straps after he gets in by himself. Chanin can feed himself too. Lastly, Anna Christine can not only buckle herself in her car seat, but she can now unbuckle herself too. My babies are growing and becoming more independent! This makes me a little sad, but it also makes things easier as well.

Lastly, Samuel found my barrette! It was in one of his old shoes that he no longer wears that was under his backpack in a Salvation Army pile in our room. Why did I not look there on Friday?

Meredith has the cake set too. Isn't it so fun. Glad you found the barrette. Looking forward to seeing yall soon. Just so you know, our spring break will be March 14-18, and I was planning to be in MS the latter part of that week while Ryan is in Florida for baseball. I wanted to take the kids to the new children's museum in Jackson. Just fyi.
Love yall!
