Last week, we went back to Disney for the third time since Christmas. As expected, we had an wonderful time. This time we focused on characters and rides that we had not ridden before (Buzz Light Year), some of our favorites, and meeting characters that we had not meet before. Teacups are a favorite. The kids and Samuel rode them two times in a row.
Forrest fell in complete love with the guns in the shop outside of Buzz Light Year. I gave in and bought him one. AC also got a new set of Toy Story figurines, her favorite things to play with.
Another favorite. . . Dumbo
This Peter Pan should win the best character award. He put so much energy into each child. Even the Disney guy working with him would start laughing. AC was a little shy at first, but she warmed up quickly. We had a hard time getting her to walk away for the next kid. Peter Pan, along with all the people waiting in line, were enjoying the conversation (and laughing).
Meeting Jasmine and Aladdin was stressful on AC. She was really wanting to meet them, but we had to get there before they arrived to get a chance for a picture.
This guy was a trooper. . .
And my favorite. . . What can be so magical about Mickey and Minnie? They are so sweet to the kids. Forrest was so intrigued by them. He could not take his eyes off of them.
The park closed at 7, and it was nice to leave during daylight hours and not be completely exhausted. We had a great day full of all the rides that we wanted, and we did them all as a family (one of my favorite things about Disney).
We headed over to Downtown Disney for dinner. . . a great ending to a great day!
