Anna Christine has always really loved Samuel. It might have to do with them spending so much time together her first year of life (I worked in the afternoons and he would keep her). They would nap every afternoon together. Anyway, every morning, she prefers Samuel to get her out of bed. Even if she is crying and I run into her room first, she will always request her "dada" to get her out of her bed. She does prefer me to do some things, but Samuel is the rock star to her. Just this morning I asked her if she was my sweet girl, and her response was, "no, mama, me my dada's sweet girl." We collect sticks, pine cones, acorns, etc. everyday on our walks for her to give to her dada. My all time favorite line was when I told her to finish her glass of milk. She asked me why, and I told her that it will help her grow into a big girl. Several minutes later, she brought me an empty glass of milk, and she said, "Me feel a little bit bigger now. . . Just like my dada."
