Forrest is a little sick today. . . low grade fever. Thankfully, it's rainy outside. We never have big plans when it's raining. The kids have been having a fun day, and I have spent much of the day on the floor with them. Chanin has discovered riding toys. He was on this lion pictured below for about half an hour today. AC has worked several puzzles, reviewed her letters, and she has now moved on to playing board games. We usually play them together, and then she likes to play them by herself, behind closed doors.
While the kids were playing, I noticed a flock of white birds visiting our neighbor's yard. The kids usually are excited to see them, but today it was more fun to watch cars splash through our flooded street.
