Life

This past weekend we celebrated AC's fifth birthday. The party was suppose to be just a few friends coming over to paint ornaments. Anyway, siblings joined in, and it ended up being a great park day! She was thrilled about her Star Wars cake to go with her Tangled napkins and plates.

Several weeks ago in November, we went to the air show, and the kids loved it.

In other news, Chanin is a handful. He is a typical almost two year old boy who thinks he is about six. He has a little friend that is three weeks younger than him, but he thinks she is a baby. He gently pats her on the head and smiles just like he does with an infant around. He prefers to not sit in a high chair or have a bib on, and he likes to have a fork or spoon with whatever he is eating. By the end of a normal day, he has said "mama" a million times.

It is just about strawberry season here, and that means very large amounts of strawberries. AC gets really excited the first time Samuel brings them home, but I think she understands that from now until a few months from now she will have them on her plate. Well, they are free. The kids got to pick them at the station, and we had a great time with friends.

There was no way Chanin would even think about putting one in his mouth. He still prefers nothing "fresh" except applesauce and any veggie hidden in his main dish.

That's it for now. Back to preparations for Christmas!
